A sound of our own
Our songs. Our sound.
Songs our fans ask for.
Our fans request our originals. On a typical night, when it suits the venue, roughly a quarter to a third of the set is Fender Benders originals — songs that have become part of our crowd’s own favorites.
With the covers, we put our own spin on the classics, blending blues, rock, jazz, and soul while keeping the choruses everybody loves.
Fort Worth roots. Since 1997.
Meet your Fender Benders.

Fronted by longtime Fort Worth singer Sam Perez, the Fender Benders bring together Birdsnake Brown’s jazz guitar background, Amanda Brown’s award-winning bass playing, and drummer and producer Jon Mosig. The result is a band that makes familiar songs its own.
- Sam Perez — vocals, harp & percussion
- Amanda Brown — bass & vocals
- Jon Mosig — drums & vocals
